Abu Dabab Beach
Discover one of the best sandy beaches in the Marsa Alam region! This area is specifically known throughout the world to be one of the only spots to occassionally see the the endangered dugong or 'sea cow.' If this isn't enough to excite you, the bay also hosts giant sea turtles as well as the harmless guitar shark. There is an abundance of colorful reefs, a myriad of beautiful fish, a small shipwreck and a swim-through canyon with underwater caves.
Sharm El Luli
Paradise in the middle of nowhere! Its pristine, fine sands puts the Maldives to shame. With a stretch of mostly pancake flat sandy beach with a few rock outcrops and a shallow sandy bottomed stretch of water, flanked by coral reefs. At low tide, its a perfect lagoon and easy to wade in thanks to the gentle gradient of sea bottom which eventually leads out to deeper waters with a maximum depth of 20 meters to the shore side of the reef.
Sataya
Shaab Sataya, also known as the Dolphin Reef, is located at the south-eastern tip of the Fury Shoal diving area off Marsa Alam. This horseshoe shaped reef has been aptly named after the friendly mammals that can be spotted regularly on site. Additionally, you'll be amazed by whitetips, fusiliers, Spanish Dancers and parrotfish. It is a perfect place to snorkel or just to soak up the sun.
